I was talking to a guy last night about that. I don’t think they’ll stay four years either, Al. In addition, I don’t know if Calipari can consistently get blue chippers to UK as he did in Memphis.

Here’s why: He did do it at Memphis, but that is an elite program in a mid-major league. When he recruits, it’s Memphis or none other in that league for that level player. Now that he’s in the SEC, he’s got competition for kids who want to compete in the SEC with Florida, Tennessee, even LSU.

I’m not knocking Calipari – he’s been successful at every college he coached, I’m just saying it isn’t going to be as easy to recruit in the SEC consistently (against Billy Donovan, et al) as it was in A-10 and C-USA.
