The story now is the Butler Bulldogs going to the final four. Butler University is really a small university of about 4,500 students and has always been hind teat to Purdue, Indiana, Notre Dame and even Ball State and Indiana State in Indiana. But they play in the storied Hinkle Fieldhouse you all may have seen in the Cinderella basketball movie, Hoosiers. One of Butler’s greatest players ever was Bobby Plump, the real player the movie was based on, from tiny Milan, Indiana, the tiny school team that won the 1954 Indiana State High School Basketball Tournament. Now to get this back to food, one of the best breaded pork tenderloin sandwiches you can find in the Hoosier state is from Plump’s Last Shot in the Broadripple neighborhood of Indianapolis.
