I do not know how it is possible that my favorite still-existing candy “bar” is Peter Paul Mounds. I detest coconut in every form and fashion, with this single exception.

Michael, when you bought your candy at the corner drug store because it was cheaper on your way to the .25 cent matinee. The Peter Paul Mounds and Almond Joy were not the top choices, they were to easy to share. I was thrown out of the Movies one time at 9 years old, I hit a kid in the eye with my Sugar Daddy, man was I in trouble. They made a good weapon and they lasted all day…………………..

I didn’t buy candy on the way to any matinees.But when I did buy candy I bought something called Sportsman’s Bracer.
