Golf: Except for that chosen handful who play the game of golf with skill and grace and even beauty, the game as played by most of humanity is painful to watch, embarrassing to play, and as some sage said is the ruin of a nice walk in the park.

  I totally agree with you John about watching amateurs like myself play. It is sometimes painful to watch.  I am usually the first one out when the gates open so I don’t have to inflict other golfers to my slow play and high handicap.
