In my area most carts offer dirty water dogs. I have always sold Sabrett but would like to try Boar’s Head NC or Vienna Beef NC. There are no Vienna Beef vendors anywhere near me so I am a little worried that they won’t sell. Their marketing program is nice though so that may help to promote a new brand for the area?
I am going with Vienna, after having a taste test party they won hands down. And, you need to give the Vienna Hot Dog Chili a shot too. My God was that stuff GOOD! It comes pre cooked and frozen in plastic 8lb bags, just boil and serve. Allot of beef and a nice mild flavor with just a touch of heat. It comes with beans if you like, and can easily be tweeked to heat it up if need be. And it is just as good out of a cup as it is on a dog.
Vienna also has a mini hot dog, 1oz with mini buns. I served these to my mom and she loved them! I could see these being a hit with the ladies and kids. Kind of the slider, or finger food of hot dogs, sell em by the dozen.
Give Vienna a call, because honestly they have been great with getting me samples and just about anything else one would need to start a business. I wish I would have called them sooner.
