Um, I’m not sure I do get get your drift JRP.  I have been told by my wife, who pays attention to such things, that bananas are not especially favored by The Pie Diva, but I don’t quite follow how that relates to the “unsavory element”.  Is the unsavory element The Pie Diva herself?  Does the presence of bananas change her usual endearing self into some kind of vicious Mr. Hyde persona?

If that is the case, then I certainly don’t want to contribute to that disintegration of character; I can get my bananas, Foster and otherwise, elsewhere.  I prefer The Pie Diva in her natural, pleasant state, undisturbed by yellow tropical (and possibly tarantula bearing) fruit.

A variety of bars, chocolate, berry, lemon, what have you, will suffice nicely, thank you.
