The picture posted by Lindapalooza (sorry can’t link) in the Going to Beaufort, S.C. thread made me desperate for some good fried shrimp.  I find that these days they are becoming quite hard to find.  Most places use the flavorless farmed shrimp, and those that use Atlantic or Gulf shrimp tend to avoid frying.  I just want a shrimp that tastes like the sea and is perfectly fried, is that too much to ask?  So does anyone have a favorite place for fried shrimp?  If a decent hush puppy is also available that is a major plus.
