I went there yesterday. Wow, what a neat place, thanks so much! Very nice people too. The tomato pie has been a big hit in our house for the past 2 days. I also bought some very good rolls and some Easter bread, which they were pushing heavily. I’m not big on sweet breads but I’m sure my family will like it on Sunday.
I’m already planning a return trip now that I know the ground rules. I need to order in advance (they were out of stromboli and I was lucky to get a whole pizza — somebody had just cancelled an order. And they close at about 12 noon. Luckily I got there about 11 AM. And they are closed Monday and Wednesday ( I was almost going to go on Wednesday, glad I didn’t).
Only about 1hr. and 10 mis door to door from Scotch Plains. All in all the Roadfood find of the year for me so far. Thanks again.
