We use the MW to rewarm coffee, some thawing, and we have a foolproof recipe for making hollandaise sauce in the MW. 

In a suitably sized plastic container, place your butter, egg yolks and lemon juice (sometimes some white pepper and/or mustard)and zap for 10 seconds, stir, zap 10 sec., stir, zap 10 sec, stir. Done – great Hollandaise in less than a minute.
