But secondly Barrel strength is in their height, not their sides, thus you will have approx 385lbs at its max sitting on 2 points that are the side of the barrel. If you tried it, use straps not angle iron, better yet have the angle iron bent to match the circumference, and pad it. 3rdly, what fittings will you use to empty the barrel for HD inspection. K.I.S.S. !!! I picked my tank up on Ebay for about $40, yrs ago, I would think you would pay more than that when is all said and done.
