Knockum Hill Bar-B-Que is a Friday and Saturday-only barbecue joint that’s located on KY 107 just southwest of Hopkinsville, not far from the Tennessee state line. The restaurant first opened in 1980, and was destroyed by a disastrous fire back in late February of this year. Amazingly, the place was completely rebuilt and back in business by the beginning of June. Since I needed to start heading home by around noontime, Louis and I got a fairly early start that morning on the roughly one hundred mile drive south to the tiny community of Herndon.
