Welcome back YellowstoneLoon!!
Thanks! I still need to find those places to eat on the way to and from Yellowstone. We go several times a year (going through Canada and N. Dakota in July) and it’s REALLY a challenge to find good places. We won’t give up, though!

Did you try the GIANT "Helen’s Hateful Hamburger"? Bigger than a dinner plate and hanging outside the huge bun.
Sure did—it took 2 of us to eat it, along with the giant milkshake! Helen actually ran out of burgers on Sat night (I guess not much else is open in town this time of year) and was really pushing the buffalo burgers. Never got to the cinnamon rolls in West–we’ll try that in July.

Maybe I have more patience than others, but let me assure you that with Yellowstone, as well as other National Parks, you will be rewarded by slowing down and taking ample time to become one with the beauty of the landscape.
You sure have that right–it’s amazing that 95% (or more) of the visitors to YNP never get out of their cars except to see Old Faithful, and even then they are looking at the clock because of their schedule. They have NO idea what they are missing!
Can somebody please tell me how to do the quotes and highlighted boxes with them on this page? Somehow I’m blanking out trying to do this!!
