It’s been quite a while since we were last at Williamsburg but each visit there was something to remember. The last time we went was at Christmas and when I made our reservation for a place to stay, at the same time I made reservations for several meals at the various places that were of historical interest (as is all of Williamsburg). Christina Campbell’s, Chowning’s, King’s Arm, etc., are all outstanding if you let your imagination carry you along and feel as if you are really part of that era. Took communion at Bruton Parish Church, walked around Williamsburg both daylight and nighttime for the difference in ambience…..so very beautiful, educational and fascinating.
Our meals there were very good although I can’t remember each one exactly, but do remember the Peanut Soup (delicious) as something different from our usual fare.
Have a wonderful time. We’ve also been there at Easter time and that too is awesome in my opinion.
