[/quote] Never much a fan of sweet stuff myself, my favorite snack was to take a hunk of cheese (usually sharp cheddar or Colby) and melt it, either in the microwave, or on the stove to get the crispy edges. And that was it–sort of a carb-less grilled cheese, I guess.
A kindred spirit – I still eat melted cheese about twice a week! I remember my brother used to eat Wise Potato chips with meunster cheese on them. Mom used to dip raw string beans in Dijon mustard – she actually served this to guests during cocktail time.
