In the 70’s, there was a weiner king in Salisbury, NC. On Innes street, just up from McDonald’s and directly across the road from Wendy’s (still there) near the fire station. The building is still there, or was last time I went through. Salisbury also had a Sambo’s restaurant back then.

I wondered what happened to it and googling it brought me here. I remember going there a few times after ballet lessons for hot dogs when I was a child back then.
