Patrick’s Family Restaurant in Cleves.  DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!

I was looking for something different yesterday.  I was in Cleves at Krogers and thought I would try it.

There always seem to be a parking lot full of cars, usually a good sign.

I tried to order fried chicken, nope only on special.

Looking at a very boring, plain menu, I figured you can’t screw up a double cheese burger.

WOW, WAS I WRONG!!!!!

First, I ordered “pizza sticks” with cheese sauce.  I got 3 deep fried bread sticks, no salt, soaked in grease, the cheese sauce was a small bowl of generic foodservice grade crawl, that was microwaved to lukewarm.  The bread sticks were the kind olive garden uses except deep friend.

GROSS

I ordered a double cheeseburger platter with bacon, mayo, onion, lettuce, French fries and applesauce

Sounded simple to me

The platter came out without cheese

The fries were foodservice grade crawl no salt or seasoning

The applesauce was room temp and straight from the jar

The burger returned with two slices of microwaved rubber cheese

The bun not toasted or grilled

The lettuce was the rib/stem end

No bacon it came microwaved later and rubbery

The burger was past well done and preformed foodservice carp

Then the fun began when the check arrived.

I don’t mind paying for a good burger, but this was robbery

$17.23

I looked over the bill and new something wasnt right, so I asked the server.

Oh Hun that’s right you got the platter.

She charged me the platter price and each side individually plus the “pretzel” sticks and the drink

When questioned about the over charges, I was told that is how she was instructed to ring it up.

Needless to say, further questioning fell on deaf ears.
