Check out Main Street just north of the U of M stadium. That stretch of road, and most of the side streets branching off it,is a restaurant mecca. The only place I would recommend AVOIDING is a Greek place that I can’t remember the name of. I’m pretty sure it’s the only Greek place on the strip so no problem.

You’ll also want to get into Ypsilanti. It’s right next door to Ann Arbor and an easy ride. Stay on Rt. 12 for another long strip of good eats. Excellent fried chicken at Haab’s, one of the original "Chicken in the Rough" locations. Also some decent ‘Que at a place I think is called The Smokestack (?). Very good Thai at Tup Tim.

Have fun. If you’re willing to explore, Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti can be an excellent Roadfood town.
