"Harold’s" is considered the grandfather of Atlanta Q pits, and it deserves it’s hallowed reputation.
Unlike 90% of "Atlantans", I grew up here, and have tried every BBQ place I have stumbled on. Harold’s still stands all comers, especially it’s Brunswick stew, when teamed with the cracklin’ cornbread—something ya just can’t find much anywhere else.
Harold’s is a trip back to the 50’s in itself, and if you want to make it a night, take in a movie or two for dirt cheap, at the nearby "Starlight" drive-in.[;)]
