And another idea: when the recipes are listed in national magazines. Esp. "women’s" magazines (Family Circle, Good Housekeeping,Weight Watcher’s, ads, etc. )( if anyone reads them anymore).
I often see variations of regional food that are simplified for the average cook (if anyone cokks anymore).
