We had a 25-foot row of green beans in the garden. When I was a kid I hated the fresh ones unless I was snacking directly off the plant, but I would eat a whole pint myself of the ones we canned. Still kinda prefer canned to fresh, unless they’re those fabulously tasty Southern style.
Tonight I had 3 hours to kill between venues and jobs, so I took myself out for sushi. I got no pictures because I forgot, but I had 3 lovely rolls and because he didn’t notice the third one I’d marked on the back of the menu, when he brought it out he’d added five about 3/4-inch cubes of ahi drizzled with eel sauce on the side.
