I will post my Yelp review with a few edits:

I visited Harriet’s Cheesecake shop today.  Michael Stern reviewed it a year or so ago.  I’d been there maybe twenty years ago (over and over again) and then tried to stay away.  I forgot just where on Centinela it was located but today I spotted it.

When I went in the Cheesecake shop an aroma hit me that smelled like wonderful, smokey barbecue.  It’s my favorite food!  I was sure it was going to be good.   What I bought was the world’s worst BBQ.   I’ve never had BAD BBQ before and I’ve eaten it all over the country.  I’ve had BBQ I didn’t like or love, but never any that was just God Awful.  

First off the ribs were slathered in something they called BBQ sauce but it did not taste like BBQ sauce.  More like a thick, nasty tomato based something sauce.  No BBQ flavor at all, just nasty flavor.  Scraped as much off as I could. 

Then there was the way they cut the ribs… both sides close to the bone.  Hardly any meat on the bones!  What did they do with the middle meat?  They sure didn’t put it in their canned beans that tasted like they tin can they came out of.  

The meat…  Beef jerky is softer and has more flavor.  This meat had no flavor whatsoever and it was hard!  Yuck!  I’m sure the dogs would have liked them but I wouldn’t subject the dogs to bad BBQ.  I will not be returning.
