Playa Vista is a fairly new community built just south of me.  I ate at one of the newer restaurants there… Sol Cocina.  I guess you’d call their food a California twist or modern twist on Mexican food.  I was warned that their servings were large so for my first visit I ordered a shrimp and poblano quesadilla with a mango salsa. 

They also know how to use cilantro… one large piece that can be removed with ease.
