Car care is ahobby of mine, and I know a number of people in the business at the manufacturing and distribution level. The best advice I’ve ever heard comes from Mike Phillips, technical director at Meguiar’s: "Find something you like and use it often."
I’ve used probably a hundred different waxes over the last 7 years or so, from $2/can Kit to products that were well over $100 and claimed 50% pure Brazilian carnauba… and I’m here to tell you that, used according to instruction, they all work. That’s not to say that they’re all the same; but they all work, and work well. So find one you like, and use it often!
My only knock on NuFinish is its high solvent content. There are other similar products that are easier on your hands and on the environment. But it does work well.
