I don’t have exact measurements. I just eyeball it depending on how many steaks I’m preparing.
Montreal steak seasoning
Minced garlic cloves
Dash of liquid smoke
Red wine (an oaky red is preferable)
Mix together. Salt and pepper the steaks. Pour the marinade over the steaks and refrigerate. Turn the steaks over once during marinating time. Take the steaks (in marinade still) and let stand at room temperature for about 20 minutes before grilling.
