Calm down, one question mark is normally enough. I feel the same way about the BLT. Additions change it to another sandwich. I think it is because I feel it is a crock to say BLT with an egg. BLT is simple by nature and you can’t say BLT with something. Anyway, I feel more able to say grilled cheese with tomato and view certain items as toppings rather than changing the basic nature of the sandwich. There is no logic why I would allow bacon but a hamburger patty or tuna salad is out. Just how I react to it.

I also feel that if you press the sandwich it remains a grilled cheese, no matter how many cheeses you put in there, but if you add anything in this case it’s a ham and cheese, or vegi, or whatever panini. No logic that I can hide behind.
