Great pics of an old institution. Growing up in New Jersey and going to a jewish day school, so many of my friends went to Kutshers or the Concord. Brings back memories.

I just had to commment though on your sentence above. Jewish dietary laws, fried food, and saturday morning have nothing to do with one another.

Saturday morning is also Sabbath morning, and cooking in general is not done by those who observe it. Still, you had poached eggs which require cooking. I am kinda scratching my head about that one. Not sure why this was given as a reason.

There is so much misinformation about Kosher out there, trying to clear it up one item at a time…
