Lots of good suggestions…but I second a visit to the Brickskeller. It is a unique place. They have a very large list of beers…biggest I ever saw. I recall once going there with some work friends and one guy ordered a Schmidts. It has been a while since I lived there, and a recent visit revealed many of my old favoriites were gone. A couple of favorites of mine that are still there is the Hard Times Chili cafe and 5 guys in Alexandria. They were great a while ago, but recent reports have been mixed. Both are growing or have grown, and may have traded growth for goodness.
