I haven’t been to DC in 10 years, but is it true that some of the cafes in the museums have pretty tasty food?Maybe so, but Capitol Q and Chinatown (I can recommend Eat First and Full Kee) are within walking distance of most of the main museums and you can avoid tourist prices.
Full Kee has been shuttered for mysterious reasons for some time now, though it is supposed to reopen in the next month or so.
