Yep I grew up in CT too and my folks loved those darned Grote and Weigles. Almost made me give up hot dogs. I hate them… I mean I’d rather have a salad then one of those things… and that is saying something. Living in Maine after for a few years got me curious again but the red hots didn’t bring me back into the fold. It wasn’t till I moved to Chicago that I remembered what a good dog was (from my days on the CT shore, not at home).
