You’ve a right to be proud of that. I would focus on, and build upon, such a practical, important and noble goal. Children can be the inspiration needed to overcome so much. Although a cliche, one day at a time can be helpful to lessen the extremes you mentioned. Good luck to you, and know you will find many caring people in your life.
