2. Take smaller bites of this countryside. Take the dirt roads off the main roads..A day or so of side road wandering is worth more than I can ever describe. In Utah we followed the Capitol Reef Back roads for over 90 miles with out seeing another car or truck…just a cowboy on a horse with his dog and a bunch of Beefers and a ton of deer and other critters.
