The hot dog thought isnt that far off….my Mom would occasionally chop up hot dogs(skin on weiners from Usingers)and put them in her chili to "stretch it"in the lean days.Really quite good.And i have a favorite family recipe called hot dog spaghetti-but will save that for another forum…..
