I rarely order "Tuna Melt" Sandwiches, but for some reason ordered one at a real Road Food find. "Don’s Restaurant", located in the middle of the town of "Soap Lake, WA."[population 1275]. This is a full service restaurant. The sandwich was on Grilled on Thick sliced, , Sour Dough White Bread. The Tuna Salad was Solid Packed Albacore, with Mayo, diced celery, and some pickles. Cheese was Swiss, but the big surprise that made this so special was finely sliced, crispy grilled onions placed over the tuna, under the cheese. We ordered a extra sandwich, to share on our drive back to Seattle. I’ve prepared this at home to allocades.
