I must add to the comment on Flying J Truck Stops, while they are a chain operation, the food service varies greatly from stop to stop. We have run into a couple that have been a Hardee’s in truck-stop disguise with a lot of fuel pumps, and others like the one described above in Iowa. Look before you eat !!!
In addition I will give them credit for keeping the lowest fuel prices on the highways— we compared as we traveled the Louisville-Phoenix and return run a couple of weeks back.
