Scott- You would be the "Cheez wit" on the Buffet! We would love to have you and your lovely bride do a second honeymoon to Owensboro that weekend.

pcdiva- We make that run often (family in Brighton). I tend to prefer the I-69 route over I-75. I’ll send the details for both, as once you get to Louisville they are the same route

1. I-94 west from Ann Arbor to I-69 south. Follow I-69 to I-465 in Indianapolis. Follow the 465 around the east side of Indy to I-65 south. Take I-65 south to the 6 milepost on the northern edge of Louisville’s Indiana suburbs. That is I-265. Take the 265 to its connection with I-64(west). Take I-64 west to Exit 79-Ind 37 south. Follow the signs on Ind 37 and 237 to the Ohio River Bridge at Cannalton. Cross the river and climb the hill to the intersection with US 60. Go right (west) on US 60 to and thru Owensboro. On the west side of Owensboro enter the US 60 Bypass that encircles the town (as if you were going to go back to the east side.) Exit 2, just a short distance from where you enter the Bypass, is Parish Rd. Exit and turn left to cross the highway. The Moonlight is about 500 yards towards town from the interchange on the right side of Parish Road.

2. If you would rather do I-75, follow US 23 south out of Ann Arbor till it merges with I-75 near Toledo, Follow 75 south thru Dayton and Cincinnati into Kentucky. At the split about 20 miles south of Cincinnati, take I-71 to Louisville. In Louisville, follow the signs for I-64 west (St Louis) and then follow I-64 west into Indiana. Once safely across the river into Indiana follow the directions found in the above list to get you to Owensboro.
