One Iron,
I am sure a lot will depend on the breaks we get with the weather. If you can get out of Atlanta "Mid-Morning" you will do fine getting getting into Louisville in plenty of time.

Folks, I’ve got somebad news and some good news.

The BAD news is that Lisa and Bob Lleechef and Zman won’t be making the cross-country jaunt to join us for this session. The timing was not within the framework they had hoped for.

The GOOD news is that Lisa sent Me a CARE package. In addition to the Gen-U-Wine Skunk Skin(see photo below) to be used as a playtoy for the Scotties, she filled it with items like Reindeer Sausage, Smoked Halibut and Salmon (can), Salmon Jerky, Alaskan Berry Preserves, Salmon Seasoning, and Honey. Most of these items will appear as door prizes at the Moonlite BBQ.

Here is Mrs. Mayor demonstrating the use of an Alaskan Door Prize designed to educate our Duffy and Demi!!

Thank You Lleechef and Zman for contributing to the spirit of the Roadfood get-togethers. The label "Door-Prize" is an informal way of covering what in the old days would have been a "Hostess Gift" meant to enhance the session with a take-home memory of the event.
It seems like ages ago that we had that first meeting in SoCal in Feb 2004 (It was SuperBowl Sunday). Bushie had sent along a bunch of ‘Real Sugar’ Dr Pepper and some BBQ sauces with me on our trip West . The group that met that day had lots to talk about as they sampled the soda and other treats from "back East". The concept has kinda expanded from that. We sure have fun with it though. I am looking forward to seeing what local ‘goodies’ will show up for this meeting.

Just a month to go!!![/b]
