I make a low-cal trifle so I will have a treat when watching weight. It is always gone when I take it to family reunions, parties, etc. We had unexpected guests not long ago (son’s friends in the age group of 25, both men & women) I had made a trifle for the next day & decided to share with this group. I never got any. It was gone. They never realized it was "lite" & many went for seconds.

I use a sugar-free Angel food cake crumbled. Top with a layer of vanilla pudding made with skim milk. You can lower it even more with sugar-free pudding, but I used regular. Layer fresh strawberries & kiwi slices. Blueberries work, too. Top this with whipped topping. There again, you can use "lite". Repeat layers & garnish with strawberry slices.
