Hi Rapunzlc,
You’ll be driving across I-90 and crossing the Mississippi River where I live at LaCrosse,Wisconsin.
If you are a steak eater and don’t mind going a few miles from the I-system on your way back to Michigan. It’s a must stop at Amidon,North Dakota. On your return route take I-94 and drop down from just West of Dickinson, North Dakota on hiway 85 South. The place is called Georgia and the Owl, and they have a motel also to stay at.You won’t be able to move after you eat there steak, believe me.
Type in Georgia’s and the Owl in Amidon,North Dakota in your search engine bar and it should pop up.Here’s the telephone number if you need it to reserve a room.701-879-6289.
check it out, George from Wisconsin,Good Luck
