Okay, I have probably put this in three or four threads but no replies (yet!)

"Badlands Nat’l Park Lodge, SD. It was a whopping 13 yrs ago now that I stopped at an unremarkable looking park service building for breakfast and was treated to heuvos rancheros on Indian fry bread, easily the best breakfast of my life. I had a friend stop in two years ago and claims it is still there & good. [If anyone is in SD and can re-verify, I’d be eternally grateful!]"

It was easy to find and close to I-90. I think it was the Nat’l Park Service’s "Lodge" perhaps.

Also we loved our stop in Trempeleau WI but that’s a bit off your path I think? [nr Winona MN]

Plus, fyi in Billings there was a fun & funky coffee shop called Cafe Jones. Don’t know if it is still there…
