sounds to me like there is a communication gap between you and the insurance company. someone correct me if i am wrong, but i think all you need is a liability insurance policy(in case you get someone sick), and perhaps an optional policy to cover loss of the trailer itself . dont go to an auto insurance company, find a more fitting general ins. company.
