A disability certainly brings on difficulties. You have to learn how to manage around them as it seems you have. It requires much more planning.

Before my wife died this past spring, her issues brought on weakness, the use of walkers and wheelchairs, adding handrails to the house, redoing the bathroom and a lot of planning.

She spent six months in Houston, TX for treatment. Commercial flights were out and I am fortunate that the company that I consult with provided me with their jet for unlimited use. It was still an issue getting her in the plane.

A disability certainly makes huge waves for all affected.
