When i was a kid at my grandma’s, we always had the heavy meal at lunch time. At supper time we’d just get a cold homemade biscuit out of the little door on top of her wood stove and put a thick slice of garden tomato and a thick slice of onion between the flaky layers of the biscuit. No greater nosh has ever come down the pike!
