Well, y’all, I just now saw this on the first page (only took me a year and a half), and I have to submit what I think is a correction.

Home Grown Tomatoes was a song by Guy Clark. I don’t know of any song with that name by Tom T. Hall. I think maybe the Reverand Rick was thinking of the song, I Love which mentions "tomatoes on the vine".

Also, if I remember right, Tom T. was born in Olive Hill, KY.
