Ok, I can understand some of you being disappointed that you didn’t get to meet some of the people you were hoping to, but I still feel there is some negative attitude towards the non-bloggers. Make the newcomers feel welcome–maybe they will want to communicate with people who have made them feel comfortable and part of the group.
Some of you are coming across as, "We are the insiders and you are NOT."
Now what surprises me is that you encounter people who have no intention to seek out and explore new destinations.
For me, it all goes hand in hand–I want to see new places, find what makes those places unique, and eat at places that represent or are special to the area.
You know the people willing to drive to drive 100 miles out of the way to eat at a place in Road Food are probably the same ones who will drive 50 miles out of the way to see the world’s largest ball of string. (Been there, done that)
