When making blueberry or corn pancakes, I add them to the pancake as it browns on the first side.
Make batter with out the add ins
Pour X panckes out onto griddle, while the first side browns sprinkle the add ins into the battery side of the pancake.
Flip pancake over brown the other side then serve.
This allows the addins to warm nicely with out over cooking.
Works well for blueberry, corn, chocolate chips, nuts, raspberries, strawberries
Chocolate chip pancakes, spread with peanut butter and drizzled with maple syrup. Tastes like chocolate covered peanut brittle. [:p]
