Do I like stores this big?
Yes and no.
I like the variety of the produce. I like being able to get fresh herbs 12. mos a year. I also like the variety of other items that you might not normally get. I guess we have to thank all those cooking shows for that.
I do not ever go to the food courts or cafes. We have one here in CT at Big Y. Not a food court per se but a deli that serves about 6 entres including pizza, and those wrought iron tables and chairs to sit at.
As I grow older my diet seems to get more specialized. I do mostly all homemade fresh cooking even to where I make my own stocks and sauces to avoid the salt in processed products.
So, yes I like the the big store but only use what I need.
