What was totally weird about this storm while dumping 2 feet on NYC, upstate at Albany Airport officially registered 0.7 inches of snow. I was happy with that outcome,we have had so many bad storms I can not remember them all. Christmas 2002 we got more than 3 feet in a 36 hour period 2 storms hit back to back then a week later we got another 20 inches. that was pretty bad. I still drove to my sisters house Chrismas Day and the airport never closed. But Of course Albany International has not completely closed it’s doors in more than 25 years.. I think that Southwest managed to take off a land a few planes that day.
