After the kids left the nest my wife and I used to order a 10-12 pound bone-in turkey breast for Thanksgiving. We’d roast that, make stuffing, candied yams, mashed potatoes, mashed rutabagas, gravy, have my favorite canned cranberyy sauce, rolls. And cider, of course. Fresg, untreated cider. That way we’d have leftovers for another meal or two, plus, there would be plenty of turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce for sandiches. (Yes, of course the turkey sandwiches would have stuffing and cranberry sauce on them.)
