After calling the Mount Vernon Inn daily–for almost the last 2 weeks–I finally secured a Thanksgiving Day reservation due to a cancellation as they have been completely booked. Having never been there to eat, I am interested in knowing what makes the Inn so special. (Scorereader, are you there?) I understand people make reservations for the next Thanksgiving as they leave because it is so popular.
