For the record, I had my first-ever taco in Okinawa, Japan. Asians are not ignorant of foods from the rest of the world and finding Mexican food in Asia isn’t as surprising as you might think.

Oh, and at the beach in Pattaya (Thailand) there was a Swenson’s ice cream parlor (it’s a local San Francisco chain)–go figure.
